Hugh O. Smith spent a (FUN) misspent youth working as a bouncer in NYC as well as with some of the world’s biggest bands which qualifies him to write novels about people who make terrible decisions. Nowadays, Hugh studies the martial art Krav Maga, which prepares him (kinda) for life with two spirited kids and a cat named Ninja. When he’s not wrangling his children, Hugh works as a consultant for a NYC consulting firm and is working on his newest novel. Hugh rolls his eyes at people who call him Hugo, does not enjoy discussing himself in the third person, and will almost certainly lie when asked what the O stands for.
